At HTL Church, we recognise God's call for us to care for all of creation
We seek to see unjust systems and structures transformed through God's mercy and justice, as well as worshiping our Creator God.
Eco Church Silver Award
As part of our commitment to to caring for creation, we have achieved an Eco Church Silver award and are looking to work towards gold. we are always looking to develop so let us know if there is anything you can offer to help improve our systems and structures!
Fairtrade Church
HTL is a Fairtrade church. This means that we
- Use Fairtrade products wherever possible (at least tea, coffee and sugar) and share information about Fairtrade products with the wider congregation.
- Integrate Fairtrade into the life of our church, at Fairtrade Fortnight or other times of the year.
HTL Forest Church
On the 4th Sunday of each month HTL Forest church meets in a wooded spinney in Knighton as a "church without walls".
HTL Forest Church is for all ages and meets in Ashclose Spinney (Ashclose Avenue, Leicester, LE2 3WA). If you love spending time outdoors and exploring the world around you, then this is for you.
We start at 10am for a shared breakfast and then share creative worship times together for about an hour.
